I think the rust was taking over this piece of metal.

Another superb shot.
The flakiness of this is just great. Such texture of course and detail.
I like the detail and texture. Every little bit of rust is in such plain (not to mention sharp) view. Cool shot Otto.
the crack looks so cool!
A nice camo pattern!
it appears to have won:-) The light color in the bottom portion looks like a face and a winking eye.
sorta reminds me of a lizard’s scales.. nicely captured..
I like the banded look of these rusty pieces. It makes a good graphic over all element with excellent rust detail.
Everything is going to rust away
fantastic shot
very nice, love the textures!
ooo! wonderful rusty textures!!!!
Excellent rust study and title – that seems to reflect on more than the image.
How metal looks like wood eaten by mushrooms, how we are lost in this different world!
Nice sharpness. I like where you placed this in the frame.
Awesome shot
A great frame, Otto, because I feel so small when I see what time can do.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Thanks, all.
We really can feel the texture of rust here. Nicely done again!
Have a nice day.
jolie photo de rouille.
Nice shot, I love the sharpness of the decaying paint, it makes the photo crackle.
It’s not nice, it’s rust and it’s really nice:-))
Awesome textures.
