Lena's

Not the most amazing of photos, but I wanted to show you where we stayed on the isle of Caye Caulker, Lena's Guest House. I've talked about our lodging elsewhere on the trip yet this was the only place that I actually photographed. It certainly wasn't the fanciest of places, but it got the job done and was right on the water. We were visited by a large crab in the hallway one evening that caused a good bit of commotion.

Song of the day: "The Gospel Song" by Magnet

Poem of the day:
"He was my host -- he was my guest,
I never to this day
If I invited him could tell,
Or he invited me.

So infinite our intercourse
So intimate, indeed,
Analysis as capsule seemed
To keeper of the seed."
- Emily Dickinson, "He was my host -- he was my guest,"
