The river next to the mill isn\’t normally very fast moving, so to generate the force that they needed to power the mill they dammed the river creating a pretty waterfall and faster water downstream.

On to a new series, a while back a friend and I went to photograph an old mill near Atlanta, Roswell Mill. It took us a while to find it though with a couple of wrong locations before finding the real one. On one of the incorrect locations, we walked under a bridge on a path that we thought might take us to the mill, it didn\’t. I did take a couple of pictures while under the bridge.
