Yes, your title is a good description of the land in that part of the country. Not my cup of tea as far as living there, but it's interesting to view different parts of our country. In fact, I sometimes feel like I've seen the world through photoblogs. When I see images like this one I think of people who moved west when it was a frontier. I can't imagine the hardships. Very thought provoking for me.

I like this somber shot of the dotted landscape. The landscape is impressive with its sweeping hills/mountains. I read the interview by Fedor and enjoyed it very much. Well deserved attention!
