The shadow on the left is imho a bit too large. What is it?
But the train remains very interesting, particularely in these yellow tones.

So cool! Got all the elements i like: trains, vignetting, old vintage feel. Great!

I like the play on words in patriotic train. Nice angle for this shot of the engine. I like the mild colors.

I thought I remembered the bullet hole or however the hole was made. I recall you posting a train with the flag on your old site (which was a favorite image for me). Looking back, it didn't have a hole in it. Then I checked the image of a train I'd captured 2 years ago and it has the hole in the flag. I wonder if it could have been the same train or if people have something going with marking the flag in the same manner. Wouldn't it be incredible if we saw the same train? I think it would be and I don't think it's that far fetched. Surely tracks here would carry freight due east to Georgia and back. Mine was flying by when I captured it because the large rail yards aren't in our immediate area. I like how you were able to capture a much larger scene with the tracks. An exceptional image.

I'm a big sucker for train shots and railyards. There's a closed railyard here in ABQ that you have to sneak into, or pay a fee to photograph. I haven't been but it's on my list of places to shoot this summer.

Nice composition, I like how the processing has dulled the colors of the flag, so the eye doesn't immediately snap to it and instead is free to wander about the frame a bit.

this really has that dark, oily feeling that goes with trains. nice interpretation.

Great train shot. The flag adds alot!

I like the processing, you can just feel the power of those engines and the grittiness of the yard.

Nice gritty feel; you don't see a patriotic train car every day!
